We live in Cambridge, Ontario, and here from the time one needs a prostate surgery to getting the surgery can take around four months, and one can expect to be having a catheter up to a half of that time.
The only procedure available in our town is TURP, so I traveled to Mexico to get prostate surgery.
Dr. de la Rosa Barrera (Urologist) had seen me a next day after coming to Mexico, and Diana Contreras helped us to navigate all the necessary testing in the hospital. The following day I had the Holep procedure.
Both the Uromin clinic and the hospital were nice, and everybody was caring.
I had to have the catheter only for two days, and have recovered quickly and without complications.
I didn’t have any problems with my prostate since then.
My impression of Guadalajara is that it is a clean and safe city. Everywhere the streets were lined with trees. Our stay was like a vacation to us. There is a lot to see in Guadalajara. We went to see the historic city center with cathedral and a nearby park with a statue of Miguel Hidalgo. We also did a trip to lake Chapala.
